Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: At least 18 years old.
- Business Intent: Plan to establish and manage an innovative business in the UK.
- Endorsement: Obtain endorsement from an approved UK endorsing body.
- English Proficiency: Meet English language standards.
- Financial Stability: Demonstrate sufficient funds (£1,270) to support yourself in the UK.
Application Process:
- Prepare and finalize your business plan.
- Obtain endorsement from an approved endorsing body.
- Complete the online application on the Home Office website.
- Provide biometric information or use the "UK Immigration: ID Check" app for identity verification.
- Pay the application fee and immigration health surcharge.
- Await processing, typically within three weeks.
Requirements:
- Business Plan: Present a comprehensive plan that highlights the innovation, viability, and scalability of the business.
- Endorsement: Secure endorsement from an approved endorsing body.
- English Proficiency: Achieve at least a B2 level on the CEFR scale or equivalent.
- Funds Evidence: Provide proof of funds in your bank account.
Extensions and ILR:
- Extensions: Possible if criteria are still met; apply before the current visa expires.
- ILR: Available after three years of residency, contingent on meeting residency requirements, passing the Life in the UK Test, and securing a new endorsement showing business growth.
